Despite the economy, the United
States is truly blessed!
Compared to Ghana, and most of
the world, Americans live in
luxury.
Just as the pilgrims experienced
that first Thanksgiving, it is
much easier to give thanks when
you have gone with out, and now
have enough. Imagine the joy of
dancing in the first rain after
a drought. Or a hot shower,
after 2 years of cold showers!
Adonai is a good Father, and He
enjoys giving good gifts! But
the danger of material blessings
is how quickly we begin
believing that we have earned
them, and we step into self
idolatry. As a loving Father,
Adonai will then discipline us,
so we will return to Him.

Our prayer is that we as
Believers would live with
thankful hearts, drawing near to
the Father, and rejoicing in
Adonai's daily provision of all
our needs.
