Joy Comes to Waiting
Family
Good things come to those who wait!
After 15 months of paperwork and prayer,
baby Joy has started her new life with
her forever family. Arriving home on
January 2nd with her Mom and Dad, Joy
was greeted by her seven adoring
brothers and sisters!
Joy's mother is very thankful. "To imagine someone for over 15
months, to picture them in your home, in
your daily activities... and there they
are... it's surreal; sometimes all you
can do is just stare at them, and try to
take it in, and breathe thanks to God."
Joy's life is a great testimony to God's
miraculous power. Due to her poor
condition when she arrived at GWMI, back
in January of 2009, an expert doctor in
Pediatric HIV told us to make her
comfortable as she dies. Today she is a
picture of health, and has an amazing
future ahead of her, thanks to our God,
who wants to be known as the "Father to
the Fatherless."
Many of our friends have given
specifically to Joy's adoption, and we
are thankful to have been able to pass
that assistance on to her family. For

"You are missionaries to Africa?
We want to support you!"
It's every missionaries dream for
supporters to simply appear, but we
weren't dreaming when approached last
week at a new congregation we were
visiting. Having dug out of three feet
of snow in Montana and traveled south to
Arizona, it was wonderful confirmation
that we are where we are suppose to be.
It is amazing to us to look back over
2010, and see the Father's provision,
and His hand leading and guiding us. We
are thankful for the new friends and
supporters he has brought to partner
with God of Wonder Ministries, and for
His tender care through every trial.
Knowing that our loving Father is
directing our steps, makes our faith
journey the ultimate adventure!
Faith is trusting.
Trusting in God's Word.
Trusting in the
Messiah's finished work on our behalf.
Knowing the Messiah
lives in us, as we die to our old
selfish and sinful ways.
Trusting God to really
be able to work all things together for
His purposes!
May we all trust
Him more and experience
His peace as His plan
unfolds for
all of us in 2011. |

Uganda Prayer Requests
Currently National elections are
underway, with voting scheduled to
start on February 18th. These
politically charged times can be
explosive for Uganda.
Please remember Uganda in your prayers -
pray that the rule of law will be
enforced and that the man our heavenly
Father wants to be President will
prevail in the elections.
Thank you for giving us the privilege of
serving our Father in Africa, and for
your interest in God of Wonder
Ministries. Please continue praying for
the McConnell family, and the wonderful
people of Africa, that they would know
their Saviour, Yeshua the Messiah, and
choose to live for Him.
