Safe return of the ministry team from
Christ Chapel
to the US, after a very fruitful trip!
- A
Brother in Christ in the US was moved to action, when he read about
Pastor Andrew in a recent newsletter, and was able to bless him with
a nice laptop computer for the completion of his
college studies!

Seven children identified as possible candidates for the first
children in the home.

- Please continue to pray for the men, women, and children who
made decisions to follow Jesus at the Christmas Outreach will grow in the grace and knowledge of
their Lord and Savior being transformed from glory to glory;
- Please pray for the electricity and running water to be
installed in the Children's Home;
- Wisdom and timing on proceeding with the possible admittance of
the first children in the home,
- Financial provision for set up of the home;
- Pray for discernment for which orphans are accepted into the
Children's Home. Currently we have two resources available for
taking in over 30 orphans. We need the Lord to speak clearly which
ones He has chosen for the new home.

January Prayer Requests |
- The first GWMI short term missions team arrived in Africa safely
on the 26th of December!
- TIn four days we reached 16 remote villages in 4 different
programs, that touched the lives of over 700 Ghanaians.
- The Lord's hand of favor was over each outreach, and
approximately 160 decisions for Christ were made!
- The team was an awesome blessing! God handpicked the members,
and empowered them to minister the theme "Being a friend of God".
- During the hot and humid weather, they eagerly hauled water from
the well, ministered tirelessly, and camped out at the Children's
Home - without any complaints!

- Please pray for the men, women, and children who made decisions
to follow Jesus, that they will grow in the grace and knowledge of
their Lord and Savior.
- Please pray for the electricity to be installed in the
Children's Home.
- Please pray for the funding needed to launch the Children's
Home, and rescue orphans.
- Pray for discernment for which orphans are accepted into the
Children's Home. Currently we have two resources available for
taking in over 30 orphans. We need the Lord to speak clearly which
ones He has chosen for the new home.

- We survived our first move in a 3rd World country, Adonai was
gracious and we (and our belongings) arrived in the Central Region!
- The day after we arrived, Michael (one of our team members) saw
a huge bright yellow snake on the path to the house, and this week
Amos killed a poisonous snake on the path to our house (see
pictures). Praise God for continued safety!
- Baby Isaac, a malnourished infant we have been praying for has
continued to grow, reaching 5.5 kilos (~11 pounds) after weighing
only 4 kilos at 5 months. Praise God for helping Isaac grow and
healing baby Akos from a strange sickness this past week.
- Sweating all day, and huddling under blankets and mosquito nets
at night, pulling water by bucket from a deep well, living in the
bush, hours from basic medical care - our God is with us keeping us
safe and healthy!

- Please pray for our first American team of missionaries, and the
Christmas time outreach we are planning with them in a remote
village. Safety, peace, and growth in the knowledge of the One true
and Living God for those coming, and those who we will be reaching
out to.
- Please pray for the landlord of the Children's Home, and the
owners of the land we are purchasing, to personalize the vision of
helping Ghanaian children. Please pray for God's grace and favor in
the midst of all the negotiations.
- Please pray for the electricity to be installed, and for the
furnishings for children's home to be supplied so we can rescue more
children!

- Progress is happening on the children's home in the Central
Region, and we are going to be moving in by the 21st of Nov!
- Mayfia (see last newsletters) is doing well, and her birth
family is in process for her to transition into an adoptive
placement.
- We are being refined, as we transition into another season of
service in the bush.

- Electricity for the children's home!
- Pray for the remaining adoption paperwork be completed for
Mayfia.
- Peace, strength, health, and lots of grace and perseverance as
we move to the Central Region this month.
- Funding for the necessary furnishings, and supplies to outfit

- Pray for the victims of floods in the Northern Region of Ghana
- Connecting the Children's Home to the national electrical grid
begins September 28th, please pray for this construction project to
be completed in a safe and timely manner. Pray also that the
local power company and other government and private entities
involved will handle the installation costs in a fair, equitable
manner, free of any corrupt dealings.
- Pray for favor and wisdom as the next phase of land negotiations
continues

- The official survey of the 34 acres for the permanent facility
is underway!

- Construction is progressing at the facility
for the first children’s home in Ajumako!
- The day before the deposit on the 34 acres of
land (for the permanent children’s home) was due, our car that had
been for sale for three months sold – giving us the exact amount
needed!
- God has blessed us with safe travel as we have
traveled to visit other ministries in both the Western Region and
the Volta Region.
- Beki has recovered after her first experience
with malaria, and we are thankful to have her ‘back at work’.

- Certificate of Recognition, Non-Government Organization (NGO),
- Certificate of Incorporation,
- Certificate to Commence Business,
- A suitable location for the first God of Wonder Children's Home
which construction is 80% complete,
- Approval of the home to house 60 orphans by Social Welfare,
- The agreement to purchase 55 acres of fertile land at $20,000.

- Approval of 501c3 non-profit status for "God of Wonder
Ministries, International" applications,
- Permission granted for 2 year residency permit,
- New God of Wonder Children's Home Construction:
- Safety for the Construction workers,
- Speedy completion of facility,
